General Medicine
The department of General Medicine are committed to applying the latest medical knowledge and technology to meet the needs of the patients. Our service consists of outpatient services, round the clock emergency, ICU services and regular inpatient services. The department is the first in the state to be accredited by the National Board of Examinations for 3 years post graduate DNB course in General Medicine.
The faculties are involved in guiding the DNB Post Graduate students in various research activities. Our physicians handle the prevention, diagnosis and non surgical treatment for various diseases from simple fever to complex conditions for patients. The department also conducts community camps where screening for various medical problems like Diabetes, Hypertension, etc., takes place.
The General medicine department offers the following services:
