Shija Hopsital’s anesthesia department plays a key role in many areas including operating room efficiency (on-time starts, recovery time, etc.), patient safety and clinical outcomes. The department is managed by a team of anesthetists and critical care specialist to provide 24-hour care for patients with various life-threatening conditions.

Our team of anaesthetists provide anaesthetic assistance to the following specialties in the hospital:

  • General and Minimal invasive surgery, laparoscopic surgery and Cardiac Surgery.
  • Laser, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Orthopedics use of laser in various procedures.
  • Spine, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, urology.

  • First hospital in the state to be accredited for 3 years post graduate DNB course in Anaesthesiology by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
  • Five modern operation theatres including a dedicated OT exclusively for eye.
